2026/2027 Leduc Jets 747s ID camp!
This ID camp is the opportunity to evaluate what our association can offer for levels (B, AW, A) and is only the first step in creating our 2027 path forward! We are about creating the right fit for every team we create and focus on our program
Players from all areas are welcome! We, and all associations, are required to follow the release requirements for U15 and below age categories, which means that any player from out of our catchment area requires a release if offered a position in our competitive program. They can absolutely try out, and we encourage you to, but no spots can be offered till discussions occur with their home organization! There are no release requirements for U17 and up.
If your player isn't interested in competitive ball at this time, they do not need to attend the ID camps. We will have some opportunity later in the winter training season for them to attend tryouts if they change their minds! Please note that our grassroots recreational programs are and will remain a priority for our organization. We believe that access to foundational training, regardless of what level your player plays is crucial and we will always support all of our players. Fall/Winter training camp information will come out early September, with sessions starting Mid October.
ID camp Event Details: (please pre-register, but we will accept last minute participants)
Please note that we acknowledge that the fall is an extremely busy time for students/multisport athletes, we will have future opportunities for players to be assessed if unable to attend these sessions. There is no charge to attend!

The ID Camps will take place at the Leduc Elk's Diamonds 4401 Rollyview Road
U17 and U19- will be evaluated on Friday September 11 from 6:00pm- 8:30pm and Sunday September 13th from 9:30- 12:00pm
- Registration: Friday- 5:30 PM, Sunday 9:00 AM
- Player Evaluations: Friday 6:00-8:30 pm Pitching and Catching to follow completion of skill stations
- Sunday: Scrimmage and additional evaluations 9:30-12:00 pm
U13- Saturday, September 12, 2026
- Registration: 9:30 am
- Player evaluations 10:00 - 12:00 PM
- Pitching and Catching: 12:00- 1:00 PM
U15- Saturday, September 12, 2026
- Registration: 1:00 pm
- Player evaluations 1:30 - 4:00 PM
- Pitching and Catching: 4:00- 5:00 PM
About Evaluations
Registration: Athletes will check in and be assigned a unique identifier to wear throughout the ID Camp.
Evaluations: Athletes will demonstrate their skills in hitting, throwing, baserunning, fielding, and more. Pitchers and catchers will also be evaluated during their scheduled session.
Please note: Times are approximate and subject to change based on the number of attendees. While the camp may end earlier, athletes should plan to stay for the full scheduled time.
What to Bring:
Glove (plus trapper or catcher’s mitt, if applicable)
Cleats
Batting helmet (batting gloves optional)
Infield mask
Water bottle - Filled with water. There is no filling station at Elks diamonds.
